Este trabajo está relacionado con una exposición sobre figuras históricas femeninas que han obtenido premios Nóbel, que se va a realizar para trabajar la coeducación en el centro.
En el curso de 6º de primaria se ha utilizado la propuesta para trabajarlo en clase de inglés.
ROSA PARKS
Rosa Parks was born February 4, 1913, died
October 24, 2005. Her full name is Rosa Louise McCauley Parks. She is famous
today for her civil rights activism, but mostly for being the black woman who
refused to give up her seat on a city bus.
1. The famous bus ride
In Montgomery,
Alabama, on December 1, 1955,
Rosa Parks made history by being the black woman who refused to obey the driver
of the bus when he gave her the order to give up her seat on the city bus to
make room for a white passenger. Her actions sparked the Montgomery Bus
Boycott, and made history. Her refusal became a key part of the modern movement
for civil rights, and her actions sparked further action and set an example for
many.
